بررسی مقایسه‌ای خودپنداره دانشجویان رشته‌های مختلف شاغل به تحصیل در دانشکده پرستاری مامایی اهواز

چکیده

The self-concept is one of the most important aspects of the individual personality. The purpose of this study was to compare the self-concept of students in different fields of study in Ahvaz nursing and midwifery faculty. The present study was a descriptive epidemiological study. Hence, the research population was total students in Ahvaz nursing and midwifery faculty at Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences that 660 students with  entrance features were completed questionnaires. The data gathering tool was comprised of two questionnaires: demographic questionnaire and Roger’s self-concept questionnaire that its standard was confirmed. Data were analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistics and SPSS 22 software too. Considering the data analysis, 69.1% of students were female and the mean of age was estimated 22.28 ± 3.5 years, and also 52% of students were nursing students that 40% of students had negative self-concept. Although, males showed better self-concept than females (P-value = 0.002). In comparison all participants, nursing students had better self-esteem (P - value = 0.014), as well as Postgraduate students had more positive self-concept than undergraduate students (P-value = 0.000). According to the results of this study,  majority of students at Ahwaz nursing and midwifery faculty had a negative self-concept, therefore, it is recommended that the psychological problems of medical students facing high stress in their education and work  should be rooted and evaluated then appropriate strategies and practical steps would be figured out.

چکیده [English]

مفهوم خود یا خودپنداره یکی از جنبه‌های مهم شخصیتی هر فرد است. هدف از این مطالعه مقایسه­ی وضعیت خودپنداره دانشجویان رشته‌های مختلف مشغول به تحصیل در دانشکده­ی پرستاری و مامایی اهواز بود. مطالعه حاضر از نوع مطالعات اپیدمیولوژیک توصیفی بود. جامعه­ی پژوهش کلیه دانشجویان شاغل به تحصیل در دانشکده پرستاری و مامایی اهواز بود. 660 دانشجوی دارای ویژگی‌های ورود پرسشنامه‌ها را تکمیل کردند. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات متشکل از دو پرسشنامه اطلاعات دموگرافیک و پرسشنامه سنجش خودپنداره راجرز بود. پرسشنامه خودپنداره راجرز یک پرسشنامه استاندارد می‌باشد. داده‌ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و تحلیلی و با استفاده از نسخه 22 نرم­افزار SPSS مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که 1/69 درصد دانشجویان مؤنث، میانگین سنی آن‌ها (5/3 ± 8/22 ) سال و 52 درصد آن‌ها در رشته پرستاری تحصیل می‌کردند. 40 درصد دانشجویان مورد مطالعه دارای خودپنداره منفی بودند. پسرها خودپنداره بهتری نسبت به دخترها داشتند (002/0 = P – value). از میان رشته‌های تحصیلی، دانشجویان پرستاری از خودپنداره بهتری برخوردار بودند (014/0 = P – value ). دانشجویان مقطع کارشناسی ارشد خودپنداره مثبت‌تری نسبت به دانشجویان کارشناسی داشتند (000/= P_ value). با توجه به نتایج این مطالعه که نشان می‌دهد اکثریت دانشجویان دانشکده پرستاری و مامایی اهواز از خودپنداره منفی برخوردار بودند، توصیه می‌شود مشکلات روانشناختی دانشجویان علوم پزشکی که در تحصیل و کار خود با استرس بالایی روبه ­رو هستند، ریشه‌­یابی شده و راه­کارهای مناسب و عملی برای رفع آن‌ها به کار گرفته شود.
